Yenyenning salt lakes are about 32 kilometres south east of Beverley and are an interesting example of the ancient geological structure of Western Australia. The lakes drain water from as far away as Southern Cross, over 300 kilometres to the east and are at times full of saline water.
OK, geography lesson over! This is an awesome place, and so fabulous to see some new scenery!! Enjoyed a great day out visiting Colleen (our local tour guide!), with Nicole (chauffeur) and Sue-Ann (supplier of chips and chocolate).
and hiding at the salt lakes was this huntsman spider, with her babies!!!!!
Don't have nightmares!!
